Below are the answers to some of our most frequently asked questions. If you cannot find the answer to your question, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Where are you based?

Soniya Jasmin Bakes is based and operates in the Greater Manchester area. We offer bespoke cakes, cupcakes and many more treats to this area. We now offer nationwide delivery of blondies, brownies and cookie pies via the Royal Mail on the online shop!

How do I place a cake order?

To order a cake, please visit the cake store where any of the designs can be purchased online with a collection date specified by you. Alternatively if your preferences are not met in the cake store please get in touch and give a brief description of your design ideas. Please specify how many people you’ll be serving, the date you will be collecting your cake and we will be in touch.

Do you offer next day collection?

Cakes ordered online from the cake store are not available for next day collection. This is because a lot of effort goes into making sure all cakes are perfect and this takes time. Please ensure that you specify a collection date that is at least 2 days after your order date. If you order a cake for next day collection, we will be in touch via email to rearrange or offer a full refund if rearranging is unsuitable.

If I order a cake not listed in the Cake Store, will the price for my design in a 6” or 8” still be the same as the set prices displayed?

Depending on the type of detail, design and décor, the price may be more than a set design on the Cake Store.

Do you deliver?

Yes, however delivery is ONLY for 3 tiered cakes and large dessert table orders. Cakes in the cake store and cupcakes are COLLECTION ONLY from the Greater Manchester area (address of collection is specified in your order confirmation email).

Why don’t you offer delivery on all products?

As SJB is a one woman business there are certain limitations. Delivery is restricted to 3 tiered cakes and large dessert tables to ensure the product arrives in perfect condition. And in most cases the final décor will need to be done on site, after travelling to the venue.
